Where are Polynesians from, not from South America?

Respectfully, Polynesians are from Polynesia of course, but more importantly, each island has it's individual identity. The question of "Are Polynesians from South America?", was killed almost the same few years it was rumored and published on for entertainment. For those who don't know or are just getting into the Polynesian Heritage loop, heres what happened to that question. "Genetics overwhelmingly killed the question". Along with pretty much killing all Religious and "Lone researcher" mumbo jumbo, including the websites that used to float around about aliens and ancient Maori Celtic connections. It's not just traced these days by human gene data or Linguistics, no it's been traced again and again and again by plants on the islands, animal dna, customs, and even parasites. The Polynesian expansion comes out of Southeast Asia, and if you want to read it for yourself from reliable resources, go to online open access journals like PLOS Biology, or Pubmed.gov  - there are more sites like them, just do your research.
